Isn't rambling a trademark of Grandmothers everywhere? No theme, no definite subjects. Just whatever comes to mind when I am writing.

A special day!
Today, January 21st, 2009, was a special day because David's step son (Kathy's son)Jordan Ritter went into the MTC. Here are pictures of Nicia, Justin, and Dave and Kathy with their missionary. Gary and I were privileged to be there, and so was Andrew, and Nicia's 18 month old Alyssa, but we didn't get pictures of the rest of us. I'm sure there were some on Dave's camera. Maybe Kathy will e-mail me some of all of us and I will post them then. Jordan is Kathy's youngest child (her baby boy grown up!), and so it was hard for her to have him leave, but she is a trooper and pulled it off beautifully! We all shed some tears because we will miss Jordan, but they were happy tears because there is no place we would rather have him be than in the Missionary Training Center and no calling we would rather have him answer to than a call from the Lord to share the gospel with the people in Mexico.
